9/8/2006 twice a year the SGV makes the pilgrimage to San Diego for the ASR + Agenda shows. what can we say? we're professed skate nerds to the fullest. lots of the same ol' stuff; the eS game of skate, the Reef girls, the DVS beer garden, fake hip hop hugs, and more parties than you can shake a stick at. it was physically taxing, but hella fun. check it.

Haslam (ALMOST), Reynolds (BAKER) and Koston (GIRL) giving away John Hancocks at the Indy booth.

the last samurai of skate photography; Yoon

don't you just love you some skart?

Lil' Thomas Bonilla is from the SGV... represent homie!

no trip to ASR is complete without a visit to the infamous REEF booth to see the REEF girls.

Guadalupes is so hot right now!

oh no they didn't... oh yes they did. the Famous booth hosted an inpromptu guerilla style performance by Paul Wall. didn't see that one coming... no really, I didn't.

Danny Montoya (LISTEN), Chico Brenes (CHOCOLATE) and Diamond Nick

Jonas (LRG) and Karl Watson (ORGANIKA)

decided to go catch the limo to Agenda. the lobby felt like an old hotel.

Satva Leung

new shit! DC's premium line of shoes and accesories.

the FiveFour booth seemed nice and busy. Big Chris, Dee and J-Dub

slightly less skate, more art

then we headed over to Alyasha's pad for SPEAK EASY, a private showing of a bunch of cool brands like FIBEROPS, SLB, SINFULL THINGS, HELLS BELLZ, IRONS, and Eddie and Daniel's new brand COMMUNE. kinda radical.

the Crooks threw a party that night so we ended up there with these 2 moguls; Raymond Roker (URB magazine) and Greg Carroll (EMPIRE dist.)

young and thuggin. Ralph (RIME magazine), Jonathon (THE BUREAU), and Carlo (JEEPNEY)

the Crooks party turned into a full on bar brawl towards the end. I didn't see everything, but I did see tissue papers full of blood and lots of broken glass. as soon as I walked out the club I saw this guy taking pictures of blood stains. Bobby fucking Hundreds, you'll never catch him slippin.

Erika watching the US OPEN while waiting for my lazy ass to wake up.

we go back to ASR to tie up some loose ends and ran into these fine young gentlemen; Lizard King (THINK) and Braydon Sza (BAKER).

NEW ERA had a booth displaying all their super gnarly collabos.

Erika was SO over the VOLCOM booth. this year's theme: cavemen

the person that every kid out there should know; Alyasha (FIBEROPS) dropping some knowledge and leaving lots of lessons on your dresser.

Rhandy can see you in stunning 3-D!!!
